Agropoli look likely to be battling relegation again this season as the Delfini seem incapable of getting back to back wins. The early season euphoria has worn off an Mr BadDragon has a serious battle on his hand to avoid the drop.
It will be interesting to see how he responds to the pressure that the relegation fight will generate.

Rethinking the grand plan. Rather than signing youth players I am going to loan them from teams above me in the league. When the transfer window opens I will go on a loan spell frenzy and try to secure some quality youth talents.
As it happened
Serie D – Ginome I – Match 15/36
We face the impossible against the team in second place. I would take a draw here.
We haven’t faced a 4-3-3 before. I have decided to give some other defenders a game as I search for some height at the back. This could be a gamble.
In the end it was close. We played reasonably well and almost managed to pull of an upset.
They had the better of the game, however we were not outclassed. Sadly we slipped to our third 1-0 loss in a row.
Confirming our poor run of results. We need to find a way through this and return to winning ways. Scoring goals is a must!
Serie D – Ginome I – Match 16/36
This is a key game. We need something out of this to lift us clear of the relegation zone.
I stick with the diamond. Cavallaro retains his spot and Ferrari comes back into the squad to try to secure a starting place.
We did it! We actually scored goals and won a game. It took a while to happen, but we stopped the bad run.
Once again we were good at the top of the D, while they looked threatening down the left.
Serie D – Ginome I – Match 17/36
U.S.D. Noto Calcio are just above us in the league. A win will see us leapfrog them and could take us as high as 8th position.
I stick with the same side which won last time out.
We went behind from kick off and things looked grim. We pulled a goal back and looked the better side.
We couldn’t find the winner. I changed the tactics to exploit the middle and we looked more threatening.
Serie D – Ginome I – Match 18/36
A.S.D. Polisportiva Sarnese Calcio are our next opposition. They are sitting just below us and a win here will allow us to put some distance between us and them.
I decide to stick with the same team for this match.
We were shocking today. It was reasonably even at half time but we dropped off in the second half and shipped five goals.
It was a poor showing by us. We were distinctly second best as you can see from the pitch map.
One step forward, two steps back. It has been a tough end to the first half of the season.
We are currently sitting at the top of the relegation places.
